I have known Teagan since she was a little baby, and I’ve always commented to her parents about how much she reminds me of Madeline as a little one. I’m sure I sound like such a MAG (mommy advice giver) when I always tell them how important it is to feed her active spirit. But seriously. I know. Madeline was fiercely independent—from even the earliest stages in life—and had me doing all sorts of running around that I didn’t think was necessary… I was so happy when she finally got onto the swim team so that she could channel all that energy onto something else besides her poor old mom.
Which is why Teagan is so special to me; she’s playful, independent, funny, active & a little crazy, sweet, cannot stay still, and loves to give her parents a good workout. What a stinker she is! But such a little lover too…
I tried to keep her entertained with coloring, which only lasted for a few good shots (which i love, by the way), and then we just had to give in, brave the cold, and chase her all over Ballard. You wouldn’t believe all the shots I got of her running from me! Talk about bringing me back to the joys (joys, i say!) of having a toddler!
Love you, Teagan!
