abegg adventures // film // travel photography

Sometimes Michael looks at me and says, “What are we doing today? Nothing? Let’s hit the road then.” Yes please, and thank you.

Here are some randoms taken with a toy camera, from the last two months of travel. One of my friends said she now calls us The Go-Go’s instead of the Abeggs… sounds about right.

Mexico, Miami, California, the Washington Coast, an unforgettable trip to Disneyland with all of Michael’s family on one of their 45-foot charter buses, and a sunny little airport in Denver… all of which filled my soul in some new & odd & wonderful way.

Phil Chester - So awesome. It’s a disgusting day here in Columbus, you’ve inspired me to take my white slim angel out for a spin.

Karen Obrist - I love you and Michael’s sense of adventure- still to this day one of my fondest memories of my first summer in Seattle was when you asked me if I wanted to go with you guys to Heather and Jon’s family lake house. There’s something about that van… magic happens.

gil - hi Catherine!
these are truly beautiful. such unique angles!
stuff like this inspires me to pay attention to ordinary moments in life and capture them as art.
particularly love the one with the little girl smiling with the father.
xo

annette - Um. I LOVE THE WAY YOU SEE THE WORLD!

Heather Perera - Your photos are definitely growing…nice job! These are awesome!

jonathan canlas - rad rad rad rad! i have to get some bw film and shoot that camera!!!

amy - the tiny intricacies, the off beats, the glances, the movement, the light…this is where life is found. you see it dance in such a special way. i’m wading through the thickness of loss, and you have thrown me a line of something real, hopeful, simple, and true.

Jonas Seaman - You know, whenever you post this kind of stuff, Mary and I start screaming at our laptops, “Take us with you!!”
