Remember when it snowed?!

Traditionally, I like to get out there in it with camera in tow, but this year was a lot different than last year’s epic snow shoot. Mainly because there was no school or work for one whole week… one v e r y laaaaazy week. Which basically means that by the time any of these photos were taken I was either stuffed to the brim with comfort food, or a little drunk… most likely both.

Oh, and can I just pause for a minute to comment on how amazingly adorable my Madeline is?! (okay, and chantal too!)

The first few shots were with a roll of fuji 400h, from a giant bag of film that I found in my basement, so it was way expired and unfortunately it shows. The rest were shot with a roll of ilford 3200 that I found via tweeting, searching, making a few calls, and then interrupting a good friend’s dinner to score. Lesson learned… never go into a storm without a roll of 3200 on hand. (thanks, kip!)

amy grace - the world you see is always amazing…even if these images are the products of contentment, and not the hunger of drive, no one would ever notice. you bring back my nostalgia for snow, vw buses, growing up in a city, and shine a light on a future with my own beautiful daughter. yours is breathtaking :)

Mary W - I love the little snow world your night shots captured- my favorite part of a snowstorm is walking around at night. And your daughter is beautiful! And beautifully photographed.

Ali Migliore - This is lovely! Your daughter is beautiful, and i love the frame of Chantal, so cute!
