FIND boston // film is not dead

I always get asked which one of the workshops has been my “favorite.” I don’t want to outright say that this last workshop was my favorite, but I will say that it was one of the most wonderful weeks of my adult life… not only did we stay in this incredible house on the beach in a small town outside of Boston (est. 1890!) and had what we eventually dubbed FIND SummerCamp, but I also got to spend a few days with family in the Boston area, and catch up on parts of my life that have long been neglected. It was an amazing & highly emotional week for me, and I’m so happy to be sharing these photos with you, as I prepare for our next FIND adventure in Chicago.

FIND4Life!

As is seemingly customary for all the workshops, we had a few quotes from the week that stuck (see Obamican from Atlanta)… this time it was one that initially got made fun of when I first said it, but quickly became a statement that rang true over & over again, and I will stand by it forever: “I live my life expecting great things, and great things happen to me.” And the other quote being, “What happens in Plymouth stays in Plymouth.” That one I can’t expound on, obviously… but brings a smile to my face every time I think of it!

If you’re interested in attending a future FIND workshop, you can find information at the new Film Is Not Dead website… I promise you won’t regret it!

FIND is transformative in so many ways….and your post took me right back to that creaky house and all of its amazing upholstery. Much love to you on the other side of the country from your biggest fan, #dirtyhilary
